MORE THAN ENOUGH

29th AUGUST 2024

Scripture Reading: LUKE 15: 11-32

Focus

“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!” (Luke 15: 17)

In our Focal Scripture, the prodigal son recounted how the hired servants of his father had bread enough and to spare, while he perished with hunger. So the servants who worked under his father were living in abundance. The servants working under the father had so much that they could even spare some for anyone who was in lack. Because of the father, the servants operated in abundance. Because of the father, there was excess.

Friend, when you are with the Father, you have more than enough. When you are with the Father, there will be more than enough opportunities, more than enough help and helpers, more than enough doors and gates open to you, more than enough celebrations and congratulations, more than enough resources, more than enough patronage, more than enough finances, more than enough results, more than enough harvest, etc.

I decree and declare that your new season will be a season of more than enough. You will have more than enough for yourself and enough to spare. You will lend to nations and will not borrow. You are moving from not enough or just enough, to more than enough. You are moving from lack to abundance. You are leaving your season of famine and you are entering into your wealthy place. The chain of lack is broken.

Notice carefully that the servants of the father did not necessarily merit the abundance they enjoyed; they only had what they had because of their link to the father, and because they served under the father. If you dare to remain connected to the Father, He will usher you into a new season of abundance that you did not even plan for. Your connection to the Father can usher you into abundance that you ordinarily do not deserve.

Welcome to your season of abundance. Welcome to that season where the Father will carry you into your abundance.

Declaration

NO REDUCTION

In our Focal Scripture, the prodigal son judged himself unworthy of remaining a son to his father. He wanted to move from sonship to servanthood.
