In The Same Place

Negative Status Quo

18th October 2021

Scripture Reading: Joshua 5: 13-15, 6: 1-6

“The gates of Jericho were kept shut and guarded to keep the Israelites out. No one could enter or leave the city.” (Joshua 6: 1 GNB)

When the gates of Jericho were locked, no one could go in, and no one could go out. The children of Israel could not go in, and the enemies who may have been reasonable enough to go out of the city, were all stagnated. No one could make movements; no one could make progress; everyone was forced to remain at the same spot. There was an embargo on movement. Status quo was maintained to the detriment of Israel.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: I lift every satanic embargo placed upon you to hinder your movement and progress. I lift every policy that was designed to stagnate your career, business, ministry, academics, etc. I lift every satanic embargo to that has forced you to a standstill. I break every chain of limitation that has been placed to hinder you from stepping into your place. I command every embargo to be lifted.

Today, hear me as I hear the Lord: every negative status quo, is broken by fire. Every power of hell that says you will not make progress and rise to your new season, is broken. Every enchantment that is sustaining the negativity around you, I command it to scatter now. Every arrangement of the enemy that wants you to move round in circles when you should be stepping into your ‘Jericho’, I command the arrangement to scatter by fire.

Henceforth, your movement will not be hindered. The gates of your next level will be permanently open to you. No longer shall it be said that there is a negative status quo that says thus far and no further. No longer shall it be said that you stopped moving because there were men who simply didn’t want you to make it to your next level. No longer shall it be said that you could not rise because the circumstances were not favourable.

Every negative status quo ends now. The power of stagnation is broken forever.

Every negative status quo erected against me, go down now, in Jesus’ name!
