When the children of Israel sinned against God, He sold them into the hands of Jabin, King of Canaan. The name ‘Jabin’ means ‘the wise’ or ‘discerner’. So God sold the children of Israel into the hands of their enemies who had wisdom. Put differently, He sold them into the hands of negative wisdom. The wisdom of the enemy prevailed over Israel. The wisdom of the enemy became Israel’s nemesis. The wisdom of the enemy caged Israel.
Notice that Jabin did not operate alone. He had a captain named Sisera. The name ‘Sisera’ means ‘field of battle’. So ‘Negative Wisdom’ formed an alliance with ‘Field of Battle’. The negative wisdom from Jabin opened the gates for a field of battle in the lives of the children of Israel. Negative wisdom became the foundation of the battles that the children of Israel would eventually fight. The wisdom of the enemy fetched battles for Israel.
Friend, I pray for you: you will not be a victim of the wisdom of your enemies. You will not be reduced as a result of information that your enemies have. Whatever strategy the enemy has raised in order to cause you to fight needless and endless battles, I command the strategy to fizzle out. I command every idea that is helping the enemy to defeat you to be exposed. I command every negative counsel against you to perish.
Wherever the Sisera’s of this world have been mobilized against you, I command their tokens to be frustrated. I command the counsels of the ungodly against you to be frustrated. I command the wicked arms of the enemy stretched against you to be broken. I command every seat of Satan raised against you to be broken. I command every gate of hell positioned against you to fail. I command the enemies of your destiny to fail.
The conspiracies of the Siseras of this world will not prevail over you. The wisdom of the wicked will not consume you.
