New Information

14th April 2019

Scripture Reading: Mark 16: 1-9

Focus

“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.” (Mark 16: 6)

The women who went to anoint Jesus’ body last saw Jesus when He was crucified, and they probably imagined that His body was still in the grave; but when they got into that sepulcher where He had been laid, they met an empty tomb, and an angel who told them that Jesus was risen. They had old information, and that old information led them to take needless actions. They came with old information, but alas, things had changed.

Friend, glean some wisdom: old information will take you back to where you are coming from. Old information will keep you in the same circle you have been in; old information will stagnate you; old information will give you the same results you have been trying to change; old information will keep you within boundaries you should break out from; like those women, old information will make you prepare for nothing.

All you need in order to make progress is new information; all you need to make giant strides is new information; all you need to break out of your current limits is new information; all you need to step into your throne and wear your crown is new information; all you need in order to create new records and beat old champions is new information; all you need in order to dethrone your rivals is new information.

When God speaks to you, He gives you information that pushes you ahead; when God grants you divine revelation, He positions you to be able to do what you may not have been able to achieve with your physical efforts; when God reveals the way forward to you specially, you will effortlessly and sweatlessly step into higher levels that hitherto seemed unattainable. When God opens your eyes, you will see differently.

Ask God to grant you access into new information that will position you on a higher level. Ask God to position you strategically with divine revelation.
