New Realities

30th March 2022

Scripture Reading: Mark 5: 21-34

Focus

“For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” (Mark 5: 28)

The woman with the issue of blood had said within herself, that if she may touch Jesus’ clothes, she would be whole. Her calculation was a matter of ‘if’. The word ‘if’ connotes probability. So she was not sure if she would touch Him or not; but she believed that if she touched Him, her plague would be gone. She came forth with a probability in mind, but her ‘if’ became a reality. She followed Jesus, and her ‘if’ became reality.

Notice that this woman was not the only one who would have wanted to touch Jesus. There was a multitude that followed Jesus as He moved. Several people thronged Jesus. Truly, the idea of a weak woman coming from behind to touch Jesus despite the multitude, was a real probability; but the woman with the issue of blood tried and succeeded. She came from the place of probability, and her probability became certainty.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: as you follow after Jesus, your probabilities will become realities. The things you are wondering if they would come your way or not, will come your way. The doors that you are wondering if they would open or not, will open to you. The helpers you are wondering if they would come through or not, will come through. That opening you are wondering if it would become real or not, will become real. You will move from probability to certainty.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: the things you felt would not come in full will come in full. The realms that seem like a distant probability for you will become your reality. As you keep connecting to Jesus, those distant options that seem like probabilities will become your reality. The things you have considered as mere probabilities will turn around to become major certainties. Your ‘if’ will become a ‘must’.

Connect your ‘if’ to God, and He will make it a certainty. Direct your probabilities to God and He will make them your reality.

Declaration

My probabilities are becoming certainties, in Jesus’ name!
