Scripture Reading: PSALM 18: 43-48

“Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.” (Psalm 18: 43)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the psalmist affirmed that God has made him the head of the heathen. Heathen territories were territories of men who did not love God. So God gave other people’s territories over to the psalmist. God took what should have belonged to others and put the psalmist in charge of it. So the psalmist ruled over territories that belonged to others. The psalmist took charge of territories that were not his own.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are about to possess territories that hitherto were not yours. You are about to take charge of new places that you have never been in. You are about to break in and control new grounds that were hitherto not yours. You are about to possess territories that belong to others. God is about to push people out of their place and give same to you. God is about to make you the head of new territories.

Let me announce to you, that territories you never imagined you will ever have, the Lord will carry you into it. God will carry you into territories that are beyond your wildest imaginations. Territories you used to read about are about to become your reality. Territories you admired in the lives of other men are about to become your reality. You are possessing new territories. You will receive new territories as a gift.

When the Angel of the Lord showed up to help Joshua to possess the territory of Jericho, those that hitherto lived in the territory were all consumed while Joshua possessed his new territory (see Joshua 6). Joshua received angelic help to rule over his new territory. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will receive angelic help to preside over your new territories. You will receive the help of heaven to rule in the midst of your enemies.

Welcome to your new season of new territories. Welcome to your new season of possessing the gates of the heathen.

I will rule over territories that do not belong to me, in Jesus’ name!
