It is instructive to observe that severally, David made genuine efforts that should please Saul, but each time, Saul found more reasons to come against David. David killed Goliath, and when the women sang that Saul has killed his thousands whilst David killed his tens of thousands (1 Samuel 18 vs. 7-8), Saul got angry with David. Few verses later, as David played his music instrument, Saul threw a javelin at him. David’s good efforts were met with negative results.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the cycle of bad results coming from your good efforts, is over. The cycle of negative outcomes from positive efforts, are over. The season of facing needless troubles after doing the right thing, is over. The season of having your good rewarded with evil, is over. The season of taking actions in good faith and receiving results that come in bad faith, is over. The season of suffering for doing what is good, is over. The season of being attacked for doing good is over.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: your prayers will not breed bad results. Your efforts will not breed bad results. Your career will not breed bad results. Your business will not breed bad results. Your relationships and connections will not breed bad results. Your contributions in the market place will not breed bad results. Your great ideas will not breed bad results. Your investments will not breed bad results. You will not have bad results.
Today, I pray for you: in place of bad results, begin to harvest good results. Begin to receive more than you prayed for and more than you laboured for. Step into your new season of results that will overshadow your efforts. Your little will give rise to many. As you sow the good, you will reap the best. As you make good and great efforts, God will cause you to have results that will wipe your tears and make you smile again.
None of your efforts will come back with bad results. As you make great efforts, you will be rewarded by even greater results.
