Scripture Reading: Luke 7: 11-17

Focus

“Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.” (Luke 7: 12)

It is important to observe that the person who was about to be buried, in our Focal Scripture, was a young man whose mother was still alive. So it was a case of a young man that died; it was not the death of an old man; it was the death of someone whose mother was still alive. That young man was cut short at a time when he still had a lot to accomplish. He died in his prime. He died as a young man. He simply did not fulfill his days.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every attack of death around you is swallowed by fire. Every plot of the enemy to cut short your life earlier than expected, let the fire of God answer. Let the fire of God consume and destroy every conspiracy to take you out. Let the fire of God dislodge every satanic plan of death that has been positioned against you. Let the fire of God cut off every wickedness that was orchestrated to kill you.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not die. You will not bury, and you will not be buried. Your life shall not be cut short in this season. Your life will not be cut short in your prime. It will never be said that you died young. It will never be said that you did not live to fulfill your days and years. It will never be said that your parents were alive to bury you. It will never be said that you ended up as an infant of days.

As 2022 gradually draws to a close, I decree that untimely death is not your portion. God will satisfy you with long life, and show you His salvation. The blessing of longevity is upon you. You will live to see your children’s children, up to the fourth generation. I decree, that you will only pass on when you are ready to pass on. You will not die another man’s death. You will not fall into a trap that was put in place for another man.

The covenant of life is upon you; you will not die but live to declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living.

Memory Verse

“There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.” (Isaiah 65: 20)
