Elijah, in our Focal Scripture, slew the entire four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal. One major dimension of prophecy is to speak into the future, and to proclaim what would happen in the future. So these prophets of Baal were simply speaking into the future. Being worshippers of Baal, they spoke evil into the future; they took control of the future by building a foundation of negativity that would eventually manifest in time.
Elijah was not about to allow a group of men to keep speaking negativity into the future. Being a prophet of God, he knew the meaning of what they did and he slew them all. Elijah cut off those who were speaking negative words into the future; he silenced the voice of those who wanted to use their words and make a mess of the future that was yet to come; he saw men who wanted to plant evil into the future, and he cut them off.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: any enchantment or divination against your glorious future, I nullify it now. Every evil voice that is speaking evil that will manifest in the future, I command the fire of God to silence them now; every satanic voice that wants to create evil for you to harvest in the future, I shut them up; any satanic priest speaking evil into your tomorrow, let the anger of the Lord turn against them and judge them.
Your future will not be at the mercy of forces of darkness; any force of darkness that has been positioned to wreck havoc in your future, the fire of God will answer for you; every voice that says you will not rise in the future, let the anger of the Lord turn against it; let the anger of the Lord be turned against the manipulators of your tomorrow; let the Lord arise and scatter every conspiracy that wants to pollute or destroy your future.
Instead of allowing satanic plans and schemes to get to your future in advance, speak prophetic words and take control of the future through your proclamations.
