Before David summoned the three men in our Focal Scripture, Adonijah – one of the sons of David, had hijacked the throne. He believed the throne was his inheritance. While God was cooking something for Solomon, Adonijah was celebrating a victory that was meant for another man. He was a destiny hijacker. He plotted and schemed to take the place of Solomon. He conspired against God’s will for Solomon.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every destiny hijacker that has come to take your place, I decree, let the hand of the Lord move against them. Every man that wants to steal the thrones and crowns that God designed for you, let the fire of God stop them. Every man that wants to take the victory and results that should rightly be yours, let your portion be too hot for them to handle. Any man that is against God’s will for you, let fire answer.
Every Adonijah opposing the promise of God for your life, family, children, career, business, ministry, etc., let the fire of God take them out of your way. Every Adonijah who is using his strength and personal advantage to stand in the way of what God wants to do in your life, let the hand of the Lord push them out. Every gathering that is plotting to make you watch as others celebrate what was meant for you, let it scatter.
It will never be said that you were promised the throne, only to lose it to a rival that is stronger than you. It will never be said that you lost your thrones and crowns to another man. It will never be said that your greatness stopped on the way. It will never be said that the doors opened for you to rise into prominence were shut against you. It will never be said that you were alive and another man took what God made for you.
I pray for you: no Adonijah will steal your throne. No usurper will hijack what heaven destined for you.
