Scripture Reading: ZECHARIAH 4: 1-9

“So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?” (Zechariah 4: 4)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of the vision moments when Zechariah asked the angel to interpret what he saw. Zechariah’s vision happened in the days when the children of Israel were in captivity. Notice that in those days, when the Lord would have them rebuild the temple, their enemies arose and caused the work to be delayed for fifteen years (see Ezra 4 vs. 5). What they were ready to accomplish was needlessly delayed by enemies.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every system or structure that has been positioned to delay the word of the Lord concerning your life, let the fire of God consume them. I command every man that is delaying your next level to give way. I command every roadblock that is hindering your smooth rising to be removed. I command every messenger of delay to be taken off your path. I command every policy delaying you to be removed.

Notice that the king had spoken in favour of the children of Israel. They only began the mission because they had the king’s support; the king supported them, yet their opposers delayed them for about fifteen years. they had the support of the one who mattered, but those who didn’t matter much caused delays. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every conspiracy to alter what the Lord has ordained for you, let it scatter by fire.

Instead of delays, I decree, let there be divine speed. Let the matters of your life leave the slow lane and enter the speed lane. Let the helpers you need show up speedily. Let the doors of congratulations open to you speedily. Let the resources you need locate you speedily. Let the doors that need to open to you be opened speedily. Let the financial gates that need to open to you be opened speedily. Let your good news come speedily.

The days of delays are over. The days when your expectations will be delayed, are over. Henceforth, your life shall be positioned on the speed lane. No more delays.

The snare of delay is broken, in Jesus’ name!
