No Negative Evidence

10th June 2020

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 4: 1-7

Focus

“Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.” (2 Kings 4: 1)

The wife of the late son of the prophets reminded Elisha that her husband feared the Lord, and that the creditor had come to take her sons to become bondmen. That man feared the Lord, and instead of a much more positive result, his sons were to become bondmen. It seemed that the benefit of his fear of the Lord was bondage for his children. It seemed that the evidence of his fear of God was bondage instead of freedom.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your walk with God will not attract negative evidence. It will not be said that you were prayerful, and yet you ended with troubles that defied and mocked your prayers. It will not be said that you served the Lord and your children became wanderers and bondmen in destiny. It will not be said that you sowed seeds in God’s kingdom, and ended up with nothing meaningful to show for it.

Every negative evidence that wants to mock your walk with God, I shred it by fire. Every situation that has come to make a mess of your consecration and dedication to God, I command it to end now. Every challenge that has come to embarrass you and cause men to question the usefulness of your walk with God, I command it to cease forthwith. Every situation that is a contradiction of the presence of God in your life, I command a reversal.

Every plan of the enemy to steal your positive evidence, I decree by the power of God, let it scatter. Every attempt of the enemy to make your life an opposite of what the life of a child of God should be, I decree, let that effort be nullified. Every power of hell that has come to steal your evidence from God, I smoke them out by the power of God. Every messenger of hell that has arisen to take you down, I command them to go down instead.

Your walk with God must count. Your fear of God must leave positive evidence. Every negative evidence, catch fire.

Declaration

My evidence will be positive; every negative evidence following my walk with God, end now, in Jesus’ name!

Memory Verse

“Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.” (Malachi 3: 16)
