No Reduction

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 4: 1-7

Focus

“Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.” (2 Kings 4: 1)

The woman in our Focal Scripture came to Elisha to complain about how her husband left a debt and how the creditors had come to take her sons as bondmen. Bondmen were slaves in bible times. So the plan of the creditor was to reduce those boys from sons to bondmen. Their status was to be reduced from freeborn to slaves; their status was to reduce from sons to labourers without pay; there was to be a destiny reduction.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every plan of the enemy to reduce your destiny, I command it to perish by fire. Every attack of the enemy that wants to make a mess of your destiny, I command it to end now. Every plot of the enemy to reduce the quality of your life, I command it to end now. Every attack of the enemy that has come to reduce the quality of your health, marriage, children, finances, etc, I command it to end now.

You will not be reduced from freeborn to slave. You will not lose grounds in destiny. You will not stop moving forward and start moving backwards. You will not move from successful to unsuccessful; you will not move from greatness to oblivion; you will not move from relevance to irrelevance; you will not move from prominence to obscurity; your destiny will not be reduced. Your place will not be exchanged.

If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then your destiny is only permitted to advance; if Jesus has redeemed you, then your path is only permitted to shine brighter and brighter. If Jesus has redeemed you, then you have no business with any messenger of reduction. If Jesus has redeemed you, you will not come down from whatever mountain upon which the Lord has planted you. You will not be reduced.

In those places where you have suffered reduction, I command restoration with compensation. In those places where you have lost grounds, the hand of the Lord will cause you to arise again.

Declaration
