In our Focal Scripture, the King of Syria sent his men to go and fetch Elisha. Elisha was a Prophet whom kings depended on for divine direction; he was revered and highly honoured amongst the people, but the king of Syria wanted to have his men ‘fetch’ Elisha like a common criminal. He wanted Elisha to get the treatment of a commoner. He wanted Elisha to be treated like a captive. He wanted Elisha to be treated as one with reduced status. He wanted to reduce Elisha.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in this season, you will not be reduced. Your destiny will not be reduced. Your greatness will not be exchanged for nothing. Your relevance will not be reduced. Your status will not be reduced. You will not be demoted. You will not be demeaned. You will not move from higher levels to lower levels. You will not be counted amongst those that stopped moving forward and started moving backwards. You will not be reduced to lower levels in destiny.
Ordinarily, men would go looking for Elisha, to seek divine counsel, but the King of Syria wanted to bundle down Elisha without the honour he truly deserved. He wanted to reverse the order of honour in the life of Elisha. Hear me as I hear the Lord: no positive order in your life will ever be reversed. No positive pattern of results, testimonies, etc will be reversed in your life. No power of hell will bring you down.
God’s word for your life is that your path will shine brighter and brighter. God’s promise is to take you higher and higher, not lower and lower. Hear me as I hear the Lord: as 2020 gradually winds down, your path will shine brighter and brighter. Your greatness will rise higher and higher. Your relevance will increase more and more. You will never have a better yesterday. You will not be counted amongst those whose light went dim.
Today, I speak over your life: the days of destiny reduction are over. Your destiny will not be reduced. You won’t be demoted.
