No Repeated Affliction

14th March 2022

Scripture Reading: Mark 5: 21-34

Focus

“And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.” (Mark 5: 21)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Jesus passed over again by ship to the other side. The last time that Jesus made this trip, there was a storm. The last time Jesus made this trip, a contrary wind came against Jesus and the ship He was in, but in the end, He arrived at His destination. As He returned, the storm that arose before did not arise again. The challenge He faced before did not come back again. The storm did not get a second chance.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every storm you faced in time past, I decree, it will not come back again. That contrary wind will not show up again. That affliction will not arise again. That attack against your family will not happen again. That misfortune you faced in time past will not happen again. That roadblock you faced on your journey into your new season will not arise again. That negativity that besieged you before will not repeat.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: the battles you fought and won before will not arise again. The opposition you faced and conquered before will not come back again. The rejection you faced before will not come your way again. The same things that drained you in time past will not come back to you again. The same things that tried to stop you before will not come for you again. The negativities of yesterday will not return again.

If there be any altar of darkness that wants to replicate your past struggles in your today, I command it to scatter by fire. I speak against every evil man that wants your today and tomorrow to be an extension of yesterday’s struggles and pitfalls. I reject every plan of the enemy to bring back the same challenges you already faced and conquered in time past. I reject every attack of repeated affliction and repeated negativity.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: the storms of yesterday will not re-emerge in your today.
