NO VIOLENCE

Scripture Reading: PSALM 18: 43-48

Focus

“He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.” (Psalm 18: 48)

In our Focal Scripture, the psalmist affirmed that God has delivered him from the violent man. Notice that this psalm was a thanksgiving psalm of David which was written when he escaped from the wickedness of Saul. So the violent man in this scripture, was actually king Saul. Saul was not initially violent against David until an evil spirit entered into him. So David was delivered from violent spirits. David was delivered out of violence.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every violence the enemy has planned to use and consume your destiny, I command it to scatter by fire. I command every violent spirit against you to go down. I command every plan of bloodshed against you and around you to go down. I command every drinker of blood and eater of flesh that has been unleashed against you to be swallowed by the earth. I command violence to cease from your dwelling.

Most times, when a violent spirit is unleashed against you, it works through a human agent. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every human agent that has arisen to execute violence against you, let the hand of the Lord break their strongholds. Let the hand of the Lord scatter the plans of evil men that want to take your life. Let the hand of the Lord be stretched out against the evil plots that are against your peace. Let violence be quenched.

This year, you are exempted from every violence that the enemy is planning. You are exempted from violence as you move by road or sea or air. You are exempted from the violence of mindless killers. You are exempted from every disaster that wants to swallow people in your environment. You will not be a victim of another man’s violence. You will not be a victim of another man’s mistake.

Your gates shall not be open to violence. No longer shall it be said that you became a victim of violent men.

Declaration

I will not be a victim of violence, in Jesus’ name!
