No Walls

1st November 2020

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 17: 1-53

“Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.” (1 Samuel 17: 1)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of the moment when the Philistines gathered together to fight against Israel, in a place known as Shochoh. The name ‘Shochoh’ means ‘fence’ or ‘hedge’. So Shochoh was symbolic of a fence. In the journey of Israel to the Promised Land, they came in contact with a fence, known as the wall of Jericho. That wall did not allow anyone to go in or come out of Jericho. That wall was a limiting factor in their journey.

Friend, when you come face to face with a wall in your journey through life, it comes across as a limitation. A wall will typically not allow you to go forward, but it may allow you to go backwards. A wall may not allow you to make progress, but it makes room for you to remain at the same spot and also makes room for you to return to where you came from. Walls make room for stagnation and retrogression. Walls are roadblocks in destiny.

Today, I pray for you: every demonic wall that is halting your movement in destiny, I command it to go down now. Every demonic barricade stopping you from entering your next level, I command it to give way. Every demonic wall limiting your advancement, I command it to go down now. Every roadblock the enemy has set up to stop your upward movement, I dismantle it now. I pull down every demonic limitation on your pathway.

If there be any power of hell that says you cannot go forward but will only go backwards, today I decree, the siege is broken. If there be any satanic altar that says you will only go backwards in your health, marriage, family, finances, business, career, ministry, etc, today I decree, the snare is broken. The power of limitation is broken. The power of stagnation and retrogression is broken. The power of rising and falling is broken.

No more shall it be said that you were stopped by walls that the enemy erected on your pathway. No longer shall you be limited by the walls of darkness.

No negative wall will hinder me, in Jesus’ name!
