Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the brook Cherith dried up and God told Elijah to move to Zarephath. The water available in the brook dried up, and God told Elijah to change location. Both in Cherith and in Zarephath, there was sustenance for Elijah. Both in Cherith and in Zerephath, God caused Elijah to flourish. The change in location did not change or reduce his sustenance. Systems changed, but there was sustenance.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: systems may change, but your sustenance is assured. Governments may change, but your relevance is assured. Policies and protocols may change, men in power may change, environments may change, people may change, your terrain may change, but God’s will for your life will be fulfilled. The changes in the economy will not halt your sustenance. No act of man will hinder your sustenance.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter the changes that happen in your career, business, ministry, economy, environment, etc. your sustenance will not be reduced. No matter the changes that happen outside of your control, you will not lose control. No matter the friends that change to enemies, your rising will not be cut short. No matter how sectors change, you will change on a higher level. No change will work against you.
You serve a God that has not changed despite whatever changes that exist on earth. God has not been dethroned because the weather changed or policies changed. As surely as the Lord lives, whatever changes will not have any negative impact on you. Whatever changes in the economy will not negatively affect your businesses, career, vocation, etc. The more things change, the more God causes you to triumph in Christ Jesus.
Don’t fret on account of the changes you are currently witnessing around you. If God be for you, the changes will not reduce your destiny.
