In our Focal Scripture, Elisha commanded the son of the prophets whom he sent to anoint Jehu to take his box of oil and pour same on the head of Jehu. Kings in bible times were usually anointed with a flask of oil (see 1 Samuel 10) or a horn of oil (see 1 Samuel 16). There was a norm that existed in the anointing of kings, but the anointing of Jehu did not follow that format. So processes changed, but the kingship of Jehu was not reduced.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your process might appear inferior to the processes of people around you or people ahead of you, but your results will not be reduced. There may be people who enjoyed privileges that you are not currently enjoying, but as surely as the Lord lives, it will not make your results to be less than it should be. Men may mock your processes, but as surely as the Lord lives, they cannot mock your results.
Some men may have enjoyed processes that are filled with glitz and glamour, your own processes may be devoid of any comeliness that could ever be admired, but as surely as the Lord lives, you will still arrive at the same destinations they have arrived at. You may not have as many helpers as some men have, but your results will not be reduced. You may not have as many supporters as others have, but your results will not be diminished.
Jehu was not less of a king simply because he was anointed with a box of oil. His process was not the best that ever existed, but it did not diminish his kingship. Your processes may not be elitist, but your results will shock those around you. Those that are looking down on you because of how ‘small’ your processes look, will be shocked when God causes your results to manifest.
Stop focusing on your processes and focus on the God who is able to make your results outweigh your processes. Focus on God, and He will make you all that He wants you to be.
