It Won’t Take Time

Not By Timing

Even when the time is past, I will still have my miracle, in Jesus’ name!

Scripture Reading: Matthew 14: 1-20

Focus

Matthew 14: 1-20

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus’ disciples came to Him when it was evening, and suggested that it was best to send the multitude away. At a time when the day was almost over, they suggested that the multitude be sent away. At a time when it seemed that there was not enough time for all things to work in the favour of the multitude, the disciples demanded that they be sent away. Simply put, time was not in favour of the multitude.

Notice that despite the fact that it was evening, Jesus did not send away the multitude. Despite the fact that there was no time, Jesus still threw a miracle for the multitude. Jesus showed up for the multitude despite the fact that time was not in their favour. It may have been too late for mere mortals to turn the situation around, but it was not too late for Jesus. It may have been too late for good news to happen, but it was not late for Jesus.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: even when the timing of men is not in your favour, God will still come through for you. Even when it seems that there is no time for your expectations to come to pass, they will still come to pass. Even when it seems that you have gone past the favourable time for your expectations to become reality, and even if it seems too late for it to happen, God will make it happen. When it is too late, Jesus will show up.

When Jesus is involved, no time is too late for a miracle to happen. When Jesus is involved, what men have written off as impossible will become possible in a matter of time. When Jesus is involved, whatever you think you already missed out on, will become your reality unexpectedly. When Jesus is involved, what the days and times do not currently favour, will come your way on a platter of grace. Jesus is not hindered by the time of men.

This year, believe God for those things and realms that time does not support. Your life will not be governed by the timing of men. It will be governed by divine timing.
