Nothing Missing

30th August 2020

Scripture Reading: Luke 5: 1-11

Focus

“And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” (Luke 5: 6)

In our Focal Scripture, Peter inclosed a multitude of fishes, after which their net broke. There was already a closure before the net broke. The fishes were already trapped before the net broke. The word ‘inclosed’ as used in that scripture comes from the Greek word ‘sugkleio’ which means ‘make subject to’. So the fishes had been made subject to Peter; and even when the net broke, the fishes did not go missing.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your net may break but you will not lose anything. Your circumstances may go out of control but you will not lose control. Some people around you may turn against you as God blesses you, but they will not turn the hand of the Lord away from you. People may speak against you as the doors open to you, but they will not be able to shut your doors or stop what God is about to do in your life.

As the Lord grants you a multitude of miracles, nothing will be lost in your life; nothing will be lost in your family; nothing will be lost in your finances; nothing will be lost in the lives of your family members; nothing will be lost in your business; nothing will be lost from what God has given to you; nothing will be lost in the high places that God brings you to; nothing will be lost in the results that God causes to come your way.

Jesus spoke a word before the miracle of Peter became a reality, and even the tearing of the net could not mess things up. The word of the Lord stopped the tearing of the net from leading to losses. If only you can hold on to the word of the Lord that birthed your success and miracles, be sure that nothing will go missing from your life. If you hold on to God, you will see that even circumstances you cannot control will not defeat you.

Focus on the word of the Lord and pay less attention on that net that wants to break. As surely as the Lord lives, though the nets break, nothing will be lost.

Declaration

Though my nets break, nothing will be lost, in Jesus’ name!
