In our Focal Scripture, Elisha prayed to God to open the eyes of his servant, and that servant saw horses and chariots of fire that surrounded Elisha. This was the same servant who had seen the host of the Syrian army; he had seen the multitude of those that were against them with his physical eyes, but this time, his eyes were opened and he saw the armies of heaven on their side. In the same mountain where he had seen the Syrian forces, he saw heavenly forces who were on the side of Elisha.
Friend, if God opens your eyes, you would see the heavenly forces in the same place where you are currently seeing your ‘Syrians’. If God causes the eyes of your spirit man to be opened, you will see solutions in the same places where all that men see are problems. If God grants you spiritual insight, you will see the forces of heaven working on your behalf in the same places where men are working against you. If God opens your eyes, you will see divine favour that supersedes conspiracies.
The eyes of Elisha’s servant could only see the enemies that were against them, until God opened his eyes and he saw the forces of heaven standing by on their behalf. So his physical eyes were grossly limited. In this season, be mindful to know that your physical eyes are too limited for you to depend on. Your physical eyes will deceive you if you rely on it. Your physical eyes will not see what you need to see for you to make progress.
Ask the Lord to open your eyes so that you can see the armies of heaven that are on stand by. Ask the Lord to open your eyes to see more than you can currently see. Ask the Lord to open your eyes to see more than your rivals and competitors can see. Ask the Lord to open your eyes to see the favour and advantage that heaven has given you. Ask the Lord to open your eyes to see the unseen hand of God working in your favour.
Today, by the word of the Lord, I decree, your eyes are open.
