Pass Over Again

16th March 2022

Scripture Reading: Mark 5: 21-34

Focus

“And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.” (Mark 5: 21)

Prior to our Focal Scripture, Jesus had passed over the sea to arrive at the country of the Gadarenes. His movement was described as a passing over. In our Focal Scripture, Jesus passed over again to the other side. What He passed over before, He passed over it again. The word ‘pass over’ connoted the presence of an obstacle. So the obstacle that Jesus passed over before, He passed over it again. He had victory again and again.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will pass over again. You will rise above your obstacles again. You will defeat the enemies of your destiny again. You will win the battles that will come against you again. You will prevail over the gates of hell again. You will conquer your opposition again. You will gain victory over the same things you won in time past. You will remain ahead of whatever the Lord already positioned you ahead of.

Jesus passed over before, and when He came again to the same place, He passed over again. It was a case of back to back victory. Just in case the sea wanted to know if Jesus will pass over again, He came back, prevailed, passed over the sea, and went His way. Hear me as I hear the Lord: when you come back to the same places where you were victorious, you will be victorious again. Your past victory will be followed by more victories.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: it will never be said that you moved forward and began to move backwards. It will never be said that the challenges you prevailed over in time past came back to prevail over you. It will never be said that the same things you had testified about came back to mock your previous testimony. It will never be said that the doors that God had opened for you suddenly closed. It will never be said that you couldn’t pass over.

If Jesus has redeemed you, then your identity is the identity of one who will pass over again and again. If Jesus has redeemed you, you will win again and again.

Declaration
