Permitted To Advance

10th February 2020

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 6: 1-7

Focus

“Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.” (2 Kings 6: 2)

The sons of the prophets in our Focal Scripture pleaded with Elisha to ‘let’ them go to Jordan. The word ‘let’ as used in that scripture means ‘to allow’. So they were simply saying that they needed to be allowed to make the movement for their next level. It seemed that they could not make that movement except they were allowed; it seemed that they were held down from leaving their narrow place, and needed to be allowed.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: everything that is holding you down from accessing your next level expires now. Every roadblock the enemy has set up to stop you from advancing beyond where you are, I command it to scatter now. Every opposition that is resisting your advancement to higher levels, I crush them by the word of the Lord. Every limitation that is making your progress impossible expires now.

The sons of the prophets only needed the permission of Prophet Elisha in order to advance. They didn’t need the permission of whomsoever or whatsoever that wanted to keep them at the same spot. Hear me again: you don’t need the permission of your haters to make progress. You don’t need the permission of the opposition in order to make progress; you don’t need the permission of your rivals to make progress.

If God has permitted you to advance, then no demon of hell can stop you; if God has empowered you to rise higher than where you are, then no power of darkness has a right to keep you down; if God has enabled your next level already, then no power of hell has the right to stop you from moving higher and getting bigger. The approval for your advancement is not a matter for the opposition against your destiny to decide on.

Ask God to empower you to advance; ask God to enable your rise to a higher level.

Declaration

NO REDUCTION

In our Focal Scripture, the prodigal son judged himself unworthy of remaining a son to his father. He wanted to move from sonship to servanthood.
