Prophet Micah had prophesied about the birth of Christ, and he did mention that it would happen in Bethlehem (see Micah 5: 2). Mary and Joseph were not in Bethlehem, but they were meant to be beneficiaries of that prophecy, and the decree of Caesar Augustus forced them to move to Bethlehem. The decree of Caesar compelled a change of location for Mary and Joseph. His decree made Joseph and Mary to move to Bethlehem.
Caesar Augustus’ decree was for the purpose of census, but it moved Joseph and Mary to the place where their prophecy would be fulfilled. Joseph and Mary were away from the location of the fulfillment of their prophecy, and a king’s decree brought them to where they should be. The king’s decree aligned them with the location of the fulfillment of prophecy. They were aligned with the fulfillment of prophecy.
Friend, as 2019 makes way for 2020, God will move you from where you are to the place where your prophecy will be fulfilled. God will bring you face to face with opportunities that will aid your prophecy fulfillment; God will create circumstances and scenarios that will cause His word concerning you to become reality. God will usher you into the fulfillment of your prophecies.
Joseph may not have been aware of God’s entire plan, but the God who plans and watches over His word to fulfill it was on hand to use King Caesar to make His word a reality. God will use the kings of this world to bring His word concerning you to reality; God will cause your path to be favoured by the decisions of the kings of this world; God will cause the kings of this world to become messengers for the fulfillment of His word for your life.
Ask God to carry you into the fulfillment of your prophecy; ask God to cause the kings of this world to become messengers for the fulfillment of your prophecy.
