Repeated Affliction

Scripture Reading: Luke 7: 11-17

Focus

“Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.” (Luke 7: 12)

Our Focal Scripture described the young man who was about to be buried, as the only son of his mother, who was a widow. So the woman had suffered the loss of her husband, and in a matter of time, she suffered the loss of her only son. She moved from losing her husband to losing her only son. She moved from loss to loss. She moved from affliction to more affliction. Simply put, that woman suffered the misfortune of repeated affliction.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every power of hell that says you will be visited with more and more afflictions, let the fire of God break it now. Every plan of the enemy to make you cry again and again, I reverse it now. Every altar of affliction that has been erected against you, let the fire of God consume it. Every garment of mourning that the enemy has designed for you, today, I tear it by fire. The gates of affliction are closed by fire.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever negativity that came your way in the past, I decree, it will not happen again. The misfortunes that came before will not come back again. The losses of the past will not arise again. The negative conspiracies of the past will not arise again. You will not bury and you will not be buried. People will not gather to tell you sorry. The disasters, negative emergencies, pain, etc. of the past will not arise again.

The cycle of negative repetitions, is broken over your life. The cycle of negative results is broken over your life. The gates of your destiny will not welcome any affliction. The struggles of others will not be your struggle. Instead of repeated negativity, welcome to your season of repeated miracles. You are moving from miracles to more miracles. You are moving from good news to greater good news. You will witness back to back congratulations.

The days of repeated affliction and repeated negativity, are over. Affliction will not arise and second time.

Declaration

I will not cry again and again; affliction will not arise a second time, in Jesus’ name!
