Restoration

20th January 2020

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 10: 1-7

Focus

“When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel's sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?” (1 Samuel 10: 2)

In our Focal Scripture, Saul was to be given the good news of the recovery of his father’s asses. Before he met Samuel, he was in the midst of the search for the asses of his father that were lost, but immediately after kingship was bestowed on him, what was lost was found. Kingship came to Saul, and there was a recovery of what was previously lost. Kingship came on board, and immediately, there was restoration.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2020, there shall be a restoration of whatsoever you lost in time past. Your lost opportunities shall be restored; your lost platforms shall be restored; your lost resources shall be restored; the profitable relationships you lost shall be restored; the greatness that was taken away from you shall be restored; the good health that the enemy stole from you shall be restored; restoration is imminent.

The lost asses belonged to Saul’s father; so there was a restoration of what was lost by Saul’s family member. Saul contacted the Prophet, Samuel, God’s representative, and his family received restoration. Hear me as I hear the Lord: because of your connection to God, what your family members lost shall be restored to them. Because of your walk with God, the losses of your family members shall be restored to them without efforts.

If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then you belong to the company of those who recover what was lost by others. If Jesus has set you free, then it is your responsibility to ensure that there is nothing missing and nothing broken in your family. If you are on the Lord’s side, then the losses of everyone connected to you should become your prayer topic until they get back what they lost. You were redeemed to stop the losses.

Get set for 2020 of restoration. When God restores, He doesn’t give back the much you lost; He gives more. In 2020, receive restoration with compensation.
