RESTORED WITH ADDITION

30th June 2023

Scripture Reading: PSALMS 23: 1-6

Focus

“He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” (Psalm 23: 3)

In our Focal Scripture, the psalmist speaks of how the Lord restores his soul. The psalmist speaks of how the Lord brings restoration to his being. Restoration would ordinarily suggest that something has been lost. So the psalmist inferred that whatever is lost from his soul, the Lord restores same. The soul is the seat of wisdom, knowledge, feelings, will, thoughts, etc. in a mortal being. So the psalmist inferred that what is lost, is restored.

Friend, I pray for you: as the first half of 2023 comes to an end, I decree, whatsoever that you lost from your inner man, let it be restored. Let your vision be restored. Let your ideas be restored. Let your passion for the Lord be restored. Let your sanity be restored. Let your mental coordination be restored. Let your peace of mind be restored. Let the calmness in your inner man be restored. Let the purity of your soul be restored.

Whatsoever the enemy has taken out of your soul, I command, let it be restored. Whatsoever the battles of life have robbed your soul of, let it be restored. Whatsoever the inner recesses of your being has been robbed of, let it be restored. Whatsoever the gates of hell have taken away from your inner man, let it be restored. Whatsoever sin and unrighteousness took from your soul, let it be restored.

When God restores, He does not restore the much you lost; He restores with an addition. When God restores, He adds compensation. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in this season, whatever the enemy took away from your inner man is coming back with a compensation. Whatever grace and capacity you lost in your inner man is coming back with compensation. Whatever the enemy robbed you of, is coming back with compensation.

God will not just restore your soul to what it was before the enemy tampered with it. He will not just restore you to default settings. He will restore you to be better than you ever were.

Declaration

My soul is made better, in Jesus’ name!
