Rise With Benefits

2nd December 2021

Scripture Reading: Judges 6: 1-14

“And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.” (Judges 6: 2)

While the enemies of Israel continued to afflict them, the children of Israel were forced to make dens in the mountains and caves. They created their abode in the mountain and caves. They went to higher grounds, they rose to what we might call higher levels, but it was not for comfort. They kept hiding in the mountains. They went higher but it came with no comfort. They went higher but it came with no benefits.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not rise higher and end up empty handed. You will not make it to the top and end up with nothing to show for it. You will not get elevated only for it to be a crown of thorns. You will not be counted amongst them that attained heights without ever enjoying the heights. You will not be counted amongst them that went higher but never got benefits of going higher. Your going up must count.

Today, I pray for you: may your rising cause you to step into new realms of glory. May your elevation cause you to become a partaker of the greatness of God. May your shut doors be opened as you rise higher. May life become easier for you as you rise higher. May the gates of nations be opened to you as you rise to the top. May every new height you attain open the doors of your life to new things that God Himself will bring.

If there be any power of hell or scheme of man that says that you will rise higher but not enjoy the fruit of your rising, let the power of God bring it to nothing. Let the power of God discomfit every satanic alliance formed against your rising. Let the fire of God burn every enchantment made against you to make your higher level a source of pain and tears. Any man that says you will not enjoy your higher levels, let God arise and answer.

The season of rising higher with no benefits, is over. You will not enter your new season and not enjoy the rewards.

As I rise higher, I will enjoy the benefits, in Jesus’ name!
