SECRET WORKS

Scripture Reading: PSALMS 23: 1-6

Focus

“He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” (Psalm 23: 3)

Prior to our Focal Scripture, the psalmist had described the Lord as his shepherd, and also spoke of how he shall not want. He also spoke of how the Shepherd brought him to green pastures and still waters. The psalmist spoke of what eyes can see. Notice that in our Focal Scripture, the psalmist spoke about the restoration of his soul. He spoke of what eyes cannot see. So the Shepherd was working for him where eyes cannot see.

Friend, I pray for you: may the Lord work for you where eyes cannot see. May the Lord speak for you where no one is aware that He is speaking. May the Lord work for you in secret places. May the Lord work for you when men think He is doing nothing for you. May the Lord work for you at times when you think He is doing nothing that is tangible enough for you to see. May the Lord work for you in dimensions beyond what eyes can see.

Get set: God is working for you in places where eyes cannot see. God is working for you in places where you are yet to arrive. God is working for you in places where you do not even know He is working for you. God is working for you where the hands of mere mortals cannot thwart what He is doing for you and in you. God is working in you to make you greater than your generation has ever estimated you to be. God is working for you.

Those that imagine that what their eyes can see is all that the Lord is doing for you and in you are surely mistaken. Those that are focused on what they see around you and imagine same to be all that God is doing, are surely mistaken. As men calculate and underestimate the works of God in your life, in a matter of time, they will see the evidence of more that the Lord has done. God is working for you behind the scenes.

With your eyes, you will see the evidence of the works of God in your life where eyes cannot see. You may not see Him working now, but the result of what He is doing will manifest in due course.

Declaration

God is working for me where eyes cannot see; I will see the evidence, in Jesus’ name!
