In our Focal Scripture, Paul shook off the beast that was on his hand, and he felt no harm. That beast, a viper, had fastened itself on Paul’s hand, apparently preparing to cause him harm; but Paul was not about to pretend that the beast was his good friend; he simply shook it off, into the fire. He threw the enemy of his destiny into the fire; he allowed the fire to deal with what came to deal with him. He shook the beast into the fire.
Friend, if there be any beast tormenting your life, shake it off into the fire. Send the fire to deal with whatsoever that has come to deal with your destiny; send the fire of God against every demonic alliance that has been set up against you; send the fire against every conspiracy that has been hatched against you; send the fire against every trap of the enemy that has been arranged to catch you; shake your beast into the fire.
Paul was not about to allow the beast to stay for as long as it wanted; he shook it off before it did him harm. Don’t wait for the attackers of your destiny to do their worst before you shake them into the fire; don’t wait for the disaster that wastes at noon to complete its cycle before you shake it off into the fire; don’t wait for negativity to complete its course before you deal with it; don’t allow the enemy to be comfortable around you.
Paul did not give the beast time to relax around him; he seemed to understand that no beast has a right to hang around him. Understand that if you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, no ‘beast’ has a place around you. If Jesus has redeemed you, no power of hell has a business existing around you or your family; if Jesus has taken center stage in your life, no satanic agent should hang around you without be chased by the fire.
Shake off every beast around you; send the fire to deal with whatsoever wants to deal with your destiny.
