Our Focal Scripture speaks of Elkanah’s annual trips to Shiloh. Another connotation of ‘Shiloh’ is ‘He who is to be sent’. Shiloh speaks of the Messianic nature and personality of Jesus. A movement to Shiloh was symbolic of a movement into God; a movement into Shiloh was a step into the fullness of divinity; Ramathaimzophim was a defined city, but for Shiloh, God was the definition and the boundary; in Shiloh, the boundaries were infinite.
Friend, when God is your boundary, there is no end to what you can become or achieve; when God is the definition of your destiny, who you become and the portion you receive are described by the fullness of God Himself. When God is your location, you can’t be limited by the ordinances and expectations of mere mortals; when God is the circumference of your destiny, your portion can’t be less than God desires for you.
Your life can only become a wonder to your generation when God is your boundary. Your life can only amaze the people who see you when the expression of your life transcends the boundaries that men have set for you. You can’t run low when you are truly in God; you can’t be confined when your life is hid in Christ and Christ in God; you can’t be reduced or extinguished if you are in God; if you are in Him, He will not let you down.
No matter what happens, and no matter the travails that life brings your way, seek to remain in Christ and in God; no matter how the challenges of life come against you, dare to remain in Christ, unmoved and your faith unshaken. No matter how complicated the events of life become, remain rooted in God’s word and remain connected to God in prayers. No matter how hard the devil tries to pull you away from God, resist him.
There is no better offer than to be in the same God whose influence is unlimited and boundaries infinite. If you stay connected to the God who is infinite, your influence and relevance shall also be infinite.
