Scripture Reading: 1 KINGS 1: 32-49

“And king David said, Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king.” (1 Kings 1: 32)

When it was time for David to pass on the kingdom of Israel to Solomon, he invited three men to come and form a support for Solomon’s enthronement. A throne had been set aside for Solomon, but he was not going to get there until he first received the gift of men he needed for the throne. Men were positioned around Solomon before he was positioned on his throne. Strategic men were positioned around Solomon.

One of the men that Solomon was blessed to be connected with, was Zadok the priest. Priests were mediators between God and men. They were the connection between God and men. So Solomon had the blessing of connections that connected him more to God. I pray for you: as you rise higher and higher, may heaven position men around you who will connect you more to God. May you have the blessing of divine connections.

Another man that was brought in for Solomon’s enthronement, was Nathan the prophet. So David gave Solomon the blessing of prophetic connections. The rising of Solomon was given prophetic backing. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you are receiving prophetic backing for your rising. Your new season will be backed by the word of the Lord. Your rising will be protected by the prophetic. God will send prophetic words to back you up.

Another man that David invited to be with Solomon, was Benaiah. Benaiah was a warrior. He was a fighter. So Solomon was blessed with the blessing of warriors. I pray for you: may God send you men who will fight your battles. May God send you gallant and valiant men who will be bold to fight for you when you cannot fight for yourself. May God send you men who will take the battles to the gates of the enemy.

Ask God to send you strategic men who will stand by you as you rise higher. Ask God to position strategic men around you until you attain the heights God destined for you.

I receive the gift of strategic connections for my journey to the top, in Jesus’ name!
