It is important to observe that before Solomon could become king, he was not in a position to speak for himself, but Nathan the prophet went to Bathsheba and plotted how to ensure that Solomon’s portion would not be taken from him. Solomon was not in a position to contend with the person who emerged as a contender to the throne that God ordained for him, but God raised a man to speak in his favour, and his throne was not taken.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in your major transition seasons, God will raise men that will speak in your favour. In your season of rising, God will send you men who will fight on your behalf. God will raise men who will speak to kings in your favour. God will raise men who will use their access in high places to your advantage. God will raise men who will knock on the doors you cannot knock on. God will raise men who will speak for you.
Solomon’s kingship did not come because he could speak for himself. He was even too young to speak for himself, but God raised a man who took it upon himself to speak for Solomon. What Solomon could not do for himself, God raised a man who did same for him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: what you cannot do for yourself, God is raising men who will do it for you. The doors you cannot open by yourself, God will raise men to open same for you.
Notice that when it was time to speak to the king, the voices of those who wanted to take the throne from Solomon were not heard. They did their best to scheme out Solomon, but the king did not hear them. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the ears of kings will be shut against those who are currently speaking against you. Those who want to pull you down will not be heard when and where it matters most. The voices of your haters will not be heard.
Welcome to that season where God will strategically position men that will speak for you. Welcome to that season where the ears of kings will not hear the voices of your haters and opposers.
