The Battles Are Over

4th December 2019

Scripture Reading: Ruth 1: 1-17

Focus

“Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.” (Ruth 1: 1)

In our Focal Scripture, mention is made of a famine which took place in Israel during the days the judges. There were several reasons why Israel suffered famine in bible times; one of such reasons was that there could be a blockade, like the one that happened in 2 Kings 6. Blockades often happened as a fall-out of battles. So sometimes, Israel faced famine because they were fighting battles. Some battles led to famine.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every battle that has come to cause a famine in your life, I command it to end now. Every battle or challenge that is reducing your finances, I command it to end now. Every battle that has come to cause dryness in your family, marriage, business, career, etc, I command the battles to cease. I command every opposition that is causing a reduction in your fortunes to crumble and end without delay.

Today, I pass a decree over every battle that is raging against you and yours: may your opposition crumble; may your adversaries be put to flight; may your challengers give up the fight; for those who have caused a confinement around you, may their siege be broken; may the battles that are affecting your productivity end without delay; may the battles that are draining you of positive energy end now.

Jesus did not redeem you so that you can become a victim of battles. Jesus did not redeem you so that the battles of this life can reduce you. If there must be a battle, then insist that the battle must increase you; insist that whatever you go through will not make a mess of your destiny; insist that your battles will not continue to the point of famine; insist that the era of perpetual battles that reduce you, is over.

Today, I decree, your battles are over; receive rest on all sides.

Declaration

My battles are over; I receive rest on all sides, in Jesus’ name!
