When the Philistines finally had Samson in custody, they rejoiced and offered sacrifices to their god Dagon. The Philistines had been through pains in the hands of Samson, but suddenly, they had him in custody and they began to celebrate on account of Samson’s pain. The enemies of Samson had reasons to rejoice because of his captivity and misfortune. The enemies of Samson came to that point where his downfall made them happy.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your life will never give reasons for your enemies to be happy. You will not suffer the sort of misfortunes that will cause your haters to rejoice. You will not face challenges that will make men to mock you. You will not witness painful experiences that will cause your haters to rejoice. You will not make the enemy happy. The story of your life will not leave smiles on the face of the enemy.
Samson’s predicament was so pathetic; he had his eyes taken out; he had his mandate effectively truncated; his life had just become miserable, and all his enemies did was to throw a party to celebrate his misfortune. Hear me as I hear the Lord: any man who is waiting to celebrate your misfortune will wait forever. Any man who is waiting to see reasons to mock and laugh at you will wait forever. Your mockers will be stranded.
Today, I pray for you: any man who is waiting to see you go down, so that they can celebrate your downfall, will witness your rising again and again. Any man who is waiting to see negativity find expression in your life, will see good news again and again. Any man who is plotting to stop your destiny will see you move upwards and forward. Any man that is waiting to celebrate your misfortune will see your good fortune.
Your life will not make your haters happy. You will not suffer disasters that will make your adversaries laugh.
