In our Focal Scripture, after plotting to hang Mordecai and eventually seeing him being honoured by the king, Haman came home mourning with his head covered. Haman had laughed over the affliction of the Jews, he had plotted against Mordecai, he had hoped to get an upper hand in his face off with Mordecai, he had made arrangements to make a mess of Mordecai, but the tables turned, and the hunter became the hunted.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the tables are turning in your favour. Those that laughed at you before are about to see a new turn of events that will shock them and cause them sleepless nights; those that thought they had made arrangements to finish you off are about to see that their plans did not make much impact afterall; those that thought they had you all figured out will see new results that will alter their calculations about you.
Haman kept tormenting Mordecai and the other Jews, but one day, the tables turned, and whilst Mordecai celebrated, Haman was mourning. The mourning that Haman planned and packaged for the Jews eventually backfired on him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: any man that has planned to make you mourn, what they planned against you will backfire on them; if they have said you will cry, they will be the ones to cry.
Get set: the tables are turning; in places where you previously mourned, you will laugh; in places where you were rejected, you will be accepted; in places where you were mocked, you will be celebrated; in places where you suffered losses, you will increase beyond your calculations and expectations; in places where you were disadvantaged, you shall enjoy divine advantages.
Ask the Lord to turn the tables in your favour; ask the Lord to make you smile in places where you previously cried.
