The scriptures in Leviticus 19 vs. 9-10 were already clear on what should be done for strangers if they came to a field. Boaz only needed to allow Ruth to glean after his servants were done gleaning. All he needed to do was to take all he wanted before allowing Ruth to come in. Boaz allowed Ruth to take from the sheaves his servants had already harvested. He gave Ruth extra privileges. He did more for Ruth than he needed to do.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your Boaz will do more. Men will go beyond what is expected of them and they will do more than they ordinarily should do for you; clients will go out of their way to do for you more than they should do; strangers will go beyond the boundaries to do for you what you never expected strangers to do for you; God will put it in the heart of men to favour you in ways that are unprecedented.
Boaz decided to let go of a part of his designated portion in favour of Ruth. He saw what should be his portion, and he willingly let go of it so that Ruth could have it. Hear me as I hear the Lord: men that matter will forfeit their portion for you to have it. People will hand over their opportunities to you; people will hand over profitable businesses and relationships to you; people will give you access to favours that were theirs originally.
You serve a God who does more than you could ever ask or think; and when He steps in, He commands men to do more for you than they ever planned to. When God steps in, He compels even the strangers that have no stake in your life to show you favours you did not ask for. When God is on your side, He compels men that matter to give you access to things and places that matter.
Ask God to compel your good men to do more than they should ordinarily do for you; ask God for the favour to receive more than you deserve.
