Scripture Reading: 1 KINGS 17: 1-16

Focus

“And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.” (1 Kings 17: 6)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the ravens brought bread and flesh (meat) to Elijah every morning and evening. One major fact about ravens is that they attack other animals that come for their prey. A raven will not allow a rival animal to peacefully or even violently take away the prey it has haunted down. The raven attacks any animal that wants to steal its prey. It attacks animals that want to steal its portion.

Friend, there are people who will deliberately come for that prey that has already become yours. There are people who will make attempts at that which has already become your portion. There are people who will prefer to leave what is theirs and come for what is yours. There are people who will come against you because of the doors that have been opened to you. There are evil monitoring eyes that come against your portion.

Notice that the ravens attacks its attackers by attacking their eyes. The ravens respond to attackers by ensuring that they do not have eyes to see its prey. Hear me as I hear the Lord: those that want to come against you will be blind to your opportunities. Those that hate your advancement will be blind to your portion. They will not see your open doors until you have already passed through. They will not see your rising until it is fulfilled.

Today, I decree, those that hate you will be blind to your breakthroughs; they will be blind to your promotion; they will be blind to your congratulations; they will be blind to your opportunities; they will be blind to your next level; they will be blind to your lifting and elevation; they will be blind to the blessings of God upon your life; they will be blind to your increase. When they find out, your portion would already be in your hands.

Welcome to that season where the opposition to your portion will not have eyes to see your portion until it has your name on it. Welcome to that season where your portion will be beyond the reach of your rivals and opposition.
