Tune Up The Fire

14th September 2021

Scripture Reading: Psalm 92: 1-12

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” (Psalm 92: 12)

According to agriculturists, the cedar tree is an excellent source of fuel. Its wood burns fast and tremendously. When wood is added to the fire, it is for the purpose of making the fire burn more and more. When we add wood to fire, we are only asking for the fire to increase. When we add wood to fire, we are simply tuning up what has already begun to happen in the fire. Cedar wood is a catalyst that helps fire to burn more.

Friend, you are that wood that will help the fire to burn better and faster. You are the one your generation has been waiting for. You are the one with the capacity to make your nation shine brighter than it has ever shone. You are the one with the ideas that will make systems you belong to do better than ever before. You are the one that has what it takes to take your work place to the next level. You are the catalyst for the fire that God has lit.

In this season, take the responsibility to make the fire of God burn more and more amongst people around you. Tune up the fire of God in your home. Tune up the fire of God in your congregation. Let everyone who comes close to you witness and increase in the fire that they have in them. Let everyone who meets you meet a higher dimension of the power and glory of God. Let your presence trigger an increase in the fire of God around.

This generation is badly in need of men whose presence adds fuel to their fire. This generation needs men whose presence gets the job done. This generation needs men whose passion will ignite the passion of others. This generation needs men whose fire will cause more men to become carriers of fire. This generation is in need of people who will go beyond carrying fire for themselves and begin to increase the fire in others.

Ask God to make you that wood that causes the fire to burn more and more. Ask God to make you that catalyst that increases the fire.

I am that wood that will cause the fire to burn better and better, in Jesus’ name!
