In our Focal Scripture, God instructed Joshua to include the priests in the journey round the walls of Jericho. The seven priests were to bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns. One of the uses of rams’ horns in bible times was for the announcement of victory. So God told Joshua to have the priests blow the trumpet for victory even when the walls of Jericho were yet to go down. He commanded that victory be proclaimed ahead of time.
Friend, welcome to your new season of victory. You will prevail over every opposition that has arisen against you. You will defeat every enemy of your destiny. You will subdue every satanic insurrection against your rising. You will tear down the gates of the enemy that have been positioned against you. You will crush the head of every serpent crawling in your field. You will prevail over the forces of darkness that have arisen against you.
The men of war were not going to fight, but God commanded that the horns of victory be blown. So it was a victory that was to come without struggles and efforts. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your victory will come without struggles. Your victory will come without much efforts. Favour will speak louder than labour in your next victory. You shall be called that one who prevailed over every battle that the enemy brought to the table.
You may not have seen the victory you are expecting, but God says, blow the trumpet of your victory. Proclaim victory in those battles you are yet to win. Proclaim victory over those hurdles on your path. Proclaim victory in those matters that are pending. Proclaim victory over every challenge in your health. Proclaim victory over every issue stealing your peace, hope, joy, finances, etc. Proclaim your victory already.
Welcome to your season of unending victory. The chapter of defeat is closed forever; the chapters of victory shall be continually open.
