In our Focal Scripture, the psalmist speaks of how the Lord makes him to lie down in green pastures. Notice that the psalmist didn’t just speak about how the Shepherd makes him to eat from green pastures. He spoke of how he is made to lie down in green pastures. According to the psalmist, the shepherd makes him have pastures to the extent of being able to lie down on them. The psalmist inferred that his green pastures were more than enough to the extent that he could lie on them.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: welcome to that season where you will lie down in green pastures. Welcome to that season where you will have pastures in abundance. Welcome to that season where what you once sought after will be so much that you could even lie on it. Welcome to that season where what you need will come in so much abundance that you will have much to spare. Welcome to your season of extravagant pasture.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: in this season, the things you once chased after will come chasing after you. The things you once prayed for will come to you in abundance. The things you once desired will become very regular with you. The things you once admired in others will become your reality. You are about to swim in abundance. You are about to move from not enough to more than enough. You are entering your abundance.
Notice that the psalmist alluded to the fact that it was the shepherd’s idea to make him lie down in green pastures. It was the shepherd’s idea to make the sheep to swim in abundance. Can I announce to you that it is the Shepherd’s idea to make you lie down in green pastures? It is the Shepherd’s idea to make you transit from not enough to more than enough. It is the Shepherd’s idea to make you swim in abundance.
No longer shall it be said that you were led by the Shepherd, yet you ended up empty handed. As surely as the Lord lives, your season of abundance is now.
