Our Focal Scripture sheds light on the season in the lives of the sons of the prophets when they realized that the place where they dwelt was too small for them. The sons of the prophets were prophets in training, they were yet to become full time prophets, their journey of becoming prophets was still incomplete, but they were able to push and press for a bigger place. What they hadn’t become didn’t limit what they could make happen.
Friend, you may not have become all that you desire to become, but it will not stop you from accomplishing the great things you seek to accomplish. You may not have become as wealthy as you desire to be, you may not have got all the knowledge and qualifications you desire to have, you may not have gained all the access and relationships you need; but God says, it will not limit what you can make happen.
There are great potentials inside of you; the power to make great things happen dwells inside of you; the power to create new records lives in you; the power to break out of old limits lives in you; the power to do better than you did before is in you; the power to cross the boundaries that people ahead of you did not cross, is inside of you; the power to make new things happen is inside of you; you have the power to make and unmake.
Those sons of the prophets did not have their names mentioned like Elisha’s name was mentioned; they appeared nameless, but their namelessness did not limit their accomplishments. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you may be nameless, you may be among those whose antecedents do not ring a bell, but in 2020, God will create opportunities for the nameless to do exploits. Your ‘small name’ will not stop your great achievements.
Reposition your mind and begin to see yourself as one who is unstoppable and whose capacity is uncontainable. If God be for you, what you have not become will not stop your next level achievements.
