In our Focal Scripture, the psalmist proclaimed that God has made him the head of the heathen. The heathen are people who do not know God, or those who worship strange gods. So the psalmist inferred that people who do not know God have come under his command and control. The psalmist inferred that by his knowledge of God, he has gained rulership over those that do not have a walk with God.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: by reason of your walk with God, you will rule over those that do not know God. You will take charge of territories. You will preside over the affairs of those who do not yet have a close walk with God. You will bear rule in the affairs of men. You will be in charge and in control. Even kings will gather to make you their king. The scepter of royalty will not depart from your dwelling.
You may be surrounded by the heathen, you may be surrounded by men who are godless in all their doings, but God says, you will rule over them. They may be involved in satanic enchantments and divinations, but you will rule over them nonetheless. They may have engaged the powers of darkness in their doings, but you will rule over them. They may have engaged the gates of hell against you, but you will still certainly rule over them.
In 2023, you will be above only and never beneath. You will be in control, and you will not lose control. You will rule in the midst of your enemies. You will rule in the midst of men who do not like your God. You will rule in the midst of policy makers who are not necessarily planning to favour you. You will rule in the midst of both good men and evil men. You are that greater light that will rule by day.
Welcome to your season of maximum rulership. By the word of the Lord, you are taking charge of the territories of the heathen.
