You Can’t Be Stopped

7th November 2019

Scripture Reading: Matthew 14: 22-33

Focus

“But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.” (Matthew 14: 24)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when the ship that ferried Jesus’ disciples was in the midst (middle) of the sea, tossed with waves. That ship was moving to the other side, and it faced opposition that would not let it move to the other side. That ship was moving to a destination, and the wind and waves contrived to hinder it from moving further. It seemed that the wind and waves wanted the ship to stop on the way.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not stop on the way. Your journey will not stop on the way; your success will not stop on the way; your greatness will not stop on the way; your results will not stop on the way; your progress will not stop on the way; your achievements will not stop on the way; your movement to the next level will not stop on the way; nothing and no one will cause you to stop on the way.

Jesus was the One who got the disciples to get into that ship; He was the One who sent them to the other side, and no matter how hard the wind and waves tried, they just couldn’t stop the ship in the midst of the sea. Go and announce to all the waves and the winds that want to stop you that you cannot be stopped, because Jesus is the orchestrator of your journey of greatness. Go and inform your haters that they’re too small to stop you.

Jesus stilled the storm that wanted to stop the ship. Hear me as I hear the Lord: Jesus will still that storm that wants to stop your ship. Jesus will deal with whatever opposition that wants to hinder your advancement and progress in destiny. Jesus will conquer every enemy of your advancement. Jesus will stop whatever it is that has come to stop you on the way.

Take a close look at every storm that has come to stop you, smile at them and declare, “I cannot stop on the way”.

Declaration

I cannot stop on the way, in Jesus’ name!
