You Have A Space

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 4: 1-7

Focus

“And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.” (2 Kings 4: 4)

In our Focal Scripture, Elisha told the widow of one of the sons of the prophets to set aside any vessel that is full. The word ‘aside’ is made up of ‘a’ and ‘side’. So that woman was to keep pouring the oil into the vessels, and for any one that got filled, a side was to be set for it. A new position was to be reserved for any vessel that got filled. Space was to be created for any vessel that got filled with the right content.

Friend, are you at that point in destiny where you are filled to the brim, but no space has been set aside for you? Are you at that point where your head is full of ideas, but you are still stuck in circumstances that mock the very ideas you have? Are you at that point where you are filled with abilities, but without a platform to stand on? Are you suffering the contradiction of having capacity and content, but without space?

Today, as surely as the Lord lives: there is a space for you. There is a platform that heaven has made specially for you. There are opportunities with your name written on them. There are positions that heaven has made your own. There is a space for you at the top. There is a space for you where kings gather and decisions are taken. There is space for you on the mountain of relevance and influence. There is space for you in destiny.

The days of having great content with nothing to show for it, are over. The days of being confined despite the space you have, are over. The days when people would easily hijack and steal spaces that are meant for you, are over. Your space will not be given to another man. Your space in destiny will not be destroyed by the enemy. Your influence, relevance, position, greatness, etc will never be minimized.

Remember, there was to be space for the vessels that were filled, not the vessels that were empty. Make sure that you are not empty whilst seeking space that is meant for them that are filled to the brim.
