In our Focal Scripture, Elijah demanded that the widow of Zarephath should make some cakes for him first, before making same for herself and her son. Opportunity for divine provision showed up, and he demanded that he be considered first before anyone else. Elijah demanded that he will be the first to get a portion from the efforts of the widow of Zarephath. He demanded that he will be considered first.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in this season and beyond, you will be considered first. You will be the first to be remembered. You will be the first to be congratulated. You will be the first to be elevated. You will be the first to receive your portion. You will be the first to receive your results. You will be the first to hit that target that everyone is trying to hit. You will be the first to cross the hurdles that have stopped those ahead of you.
Elijah had the word of the Lord over his life, and he was the first to be considered. Hear me as I hear the Lord: by reason of the word of the Lord over your life, you will be the first to be considered. You will be the first to testify. You will be the first to break forth on all sides. You will be the first to reach those milestones that others have not reached. You will be the first to have those international doors and gates open to you.
You may have once operated in situations where you are literally the last to be considered, but the tables have just turned in your favour. You will no longer be the last. You will no longer have delayed expectations. You will no longer have your portion after others have had theirs. By the word of the Lord, you will be the first to be considered. God is moving you from the back to the front. God is moving you from the delayed list to preferred list.
Welcome to that season where you will be considered first. Welcome to that season where your expectations will come before others get theirs.
