You Will Complete It

Scripture Reading: Joshua 5: 13-15, 6: 1-6

Focus

“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?” (Joshua 5: 13)

Apart from his promise to Abraham, God had also reenacted the promise of the Promised Land to Moses and the children of Israel. The whole idea of leaving Egypt was for them to end in the Promised Land. Notice that Moses began the process of leading the people to the Promised Land, but it was Joshua who completed what Moses began. Joshua was of the generation that completed what their fathers started.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are of that generation that will complete what your fathers started. You are of that generation that will finish what the fathers could not finish. You are of the generation that will fulfill the long abandoned ambitions of the fathers. You are of the generation that will complete the projects which your fathers started. You are of the generation that will cause the dreams of yester-years to become reality.

Joshua had the mandate of completing what Moses could not complete. He had the capacity to complete what Moses was unable to complete. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you possess the capacity to complete what your fathers could not complete. You possess the capacity to go beyond the limits that your fathers faced. You have the capacity to excel above the levels your fathers attained. You have the capacity to be more.

If there be unfulfilled and uncompleted projects that your fathers began, get set: the grace to complete same is coming upon you. The grace to finish what others ahead of you could not finish is coming upon you. The grace to win battles that others ahead of you could not win, is upon you. The grace to possess what those ahead of you could not possess, is upon you. The grace to do what your fathers could not do, is upon you.

No longer shall it be said that you are surrounded by what the fathers could not complete. You belong to that generation that will complete what is incomplete.

Declaration

I have the grace for completion; I will complete what my fathers started, in Jesus’ name!
