You Will Finish

You Will Finish

19th December 2019

Scripture Reading: Luke 14: 28-30

Focus

“Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.” (Luke 14: 30)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of the words that would have been spoken of the man who desired to build a tower and chose to count the cost first. If that man was unable to finish the tower, people would have mocked him as one who began to build but could not finish. He would have been an example of one who stopped on the way; he would have been a reference point for failure; he would have been an example of one who couldn’t finish.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be an example of those that started but could not finish; you will not be an example of those whose journeys stopped on the way; you will not be an example of those whose accomplishments ended on paper and never became reality; you will not be an example of one whose efforts were not enough to achieve desired results; you will not be a reference point for failure.

Today, I pray for you: receive the grace to finish whatever you have started. Receive the grace to finish the assignments you have begun; receive the grace to finish the projects you started; receive grace to complete your mission in life; receive the grace to finish 2019 in grand style; receive the grace to be counted among those who finished well; receive the grace to be counted among those who were not mocked for uncompleted projects.

The blessing that was proclaimed upon Zerubbabel is upon you: whatsoever your hands have started, your hands shall also finish it. Whatsoever you have begun, the Lord shall grant you the resources to complete it; whatsoever you have set out to begin, the capacity to complete is upon you already. You have what it takes to be a finisher.

Step out like one who is already endowed with the capacity to finish well. If God be for you, who or what is it that will say that you won’t finish well?

Declaration

I have the grace to finish well and finish strong, in Jesus’ name!
