As Paul and his fellow prisoners journeyed in the sea, the ship that carried them faced a storm in the midst of the sea, and was scattered. The vessel that carried Paul and his fellows faced a disaster in the midst of the sea. The means they counted upon to get to their destination failed them while they were in the midst of the sea. Their transport plan hit the rocks in the midst of the sea.
Notice that in our Focal Scripture, Paul and all the other prisoners all escaped safely to land. Their transport system failed them, but they got to their destination all the same. They faced troubles in the midst of their journey but they ended up in the sea shore. They faced a challenge that could mess them up and cut short their destinies, but in the end, they got to the shore.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter the storms that arise, you will get there. No matter the challenges that want to halt you, you will get there. Even if those who are carrying you decide to disappoint you, you will still get there. Even if your opposers decide that it is time to mess your destiny up, you will still get there. Even if you can’t see all those who promised to help you get there, you will still get there.
Your greatness and advancement is not in the hands of your ship; it is not in the hands of your challenges; it is not in the hands of those who decided to abandon you in the midst of your ‘sea’. Your advancement is in the hands of God, and even if the ship that is carrying you decides to break up in the midst of the sea, you will still get to your destination. You will still hit your target regardless of the challenges and pitfalls.
Don’t lose faith because someone or something promised to carry you to your destination but abandoned you on the way. If God be for you, you will get there.
